Obituary

Steven Curtis Hedrick, 72, of Batesville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. He was born December 21, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Robert and Evelyn (McGranahan) Hedrick.

Steve was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Versailles American Legion. Steve was a fisherman, builder, and loved music. He liked antiques and at one time was a “Jack of all Trades” at the Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Track. He worked at Gulf Refinery.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marlene Hedrick of Batesville, IN; 2 sons, Aaron Hedrick of Felicity, OH, Adam (Shawna) Hedrick of Greendale, IN; daughter, Carrie Beth Hedrick of Aurora, IN; stepson, Jason (Jodi) Comer of Osgood, IN; 2 stepdaughters, Julie Comer of Phoenix, AZ, Kara Beth (Shawn) Hieser of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Doug (Mary Beth) Hedrick of Greendale, IN; sister, Carol (Tom) Wilson of Greendale, IN; and his 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Hedrick; his brother, Jim Hedrick; and his granddaughter, Emily Huntington.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service that will be held at 2825 East County Road 950 North, Batesville, Indiana 47006, Saturday, August 22, 2020, starting at 1 pm.
