In case some of you haven’t visited the new VP-1 POP’s Website lately, check it out at https://vp1pops.net. Our website coordinator, Denise Tuominen, updates the website regularly and items are added almost as soon as they are submitted. She would also like members to submit “Sea Stories” or remembrances that other members might enjoy reading about, or current significant events currently happening in your life. She would also appreciate receiving any photos you would like to see posted. They can be current family photos, photos from previous reunions, and/or pictures out of the “Way Back” machine from some of the places we deployed to, or visited while on deployment when we were all 15-20 pounds lighter and the wrinkles were less abundant. Make sure to include the place the pictures were taken for proper placement on the website.
To submit you photos, stories and any other article that would be of interest to our members, send them to vp1.pops@gmail.com. The newsletter is evolving so if you have any suggestions for adding or improving the website, also please forward those also to any of our POP’s officers, or to vp1.pops@gmail.com and they will be taken under consideration by our POP’s officers.
